Default 1971 cj5 ::pics inside::

1971 CJ5 complete roller, runs and drives, tub floor was gone, useless.

Just tore the tub off to scrap, still have it if you want it. Wires label'd

Runs great, Wagon wheels nice set of 31's with tons of life left.

frame, engine, everything is nice no rust holes or scaling. Frame was undercoated, I power washed frame and coated with farm and implement black/rubberized coating in some of the nooks.

nice set of fenders, hood, rollbar, soft top, doors, "buggy bucket" bucket seats, dash, NICE windhsield frame and glass, tow bar on front bumper. full size spare, and spare rack from a yj?

Solid vintage CJ for a fiberglass tub. Bolt it on and cruise!

before tub was removed:

Tub off:

1,000 firm.

trade for 76 or newer cj5//cj7/yj wrangler/ ford bronco 2//ranger//small 4x4 running, tub can be rough or gone, must run and drive just like mine!

You might want to add the details about what motor, trans, tcase, axles, gear ratios, traction aids, etc. (Guessing 225/T14/D18/D27/D44 with 3.73 or 4.27s).

Also, is the rear axle flanged or 2 piece axle shafts?

Yours is a 79 (late) CJ5 tub, where his is an Early (55-71) frame, the body mounts aren't the same in the tub.

It can be done, I converted my intermediate 75 (which uses an early style tub) to a 78 tub, but had to weld it new body mounts to make it work..
