I have a true trac identical to that for a dana 44 in the front of my Cj and love it, it steers great on ice road and works great off road. They are weaker than the locker but good for front. Your true trac is the same as mine it is an older model the newer ones have six bolts that hold it together I have heard they went to the six bolt style because the 3 bolt ones the bolts loosen but I have abused mine for 3 years now with no trouble.

What's a fair price for them? The Detroit has about 4 k and the tru trac has less it was in the front.

I paid $100 for my front (true trac) off ebay and that was such a good deal I bought 4 total from the guy and all my buddys run them know. Make sure they are 30 spline and I say $250-350 each would be fair. But that my opinion and everybody has one.

I run a Tru Trac in the front of my truck. I love it, but will be going to an arb here soon... It slips too much running 40's. When I was on 35's or 37's it works flawlessly.
