I've seen a bunch in the parking lot, don't recall actually watching one run on the dunes though.

These things were built for the dunes. Throw on a set of paddles and go f*ck sh*t up.

That thing is an antique. You should donate it to Henry Ford museum.

I've seen those up there and the do just fine, even on knobbies. I probably haven't seen one since the late 90's though.

oh wow, that brings back memories, i had there 1st yellow version back 20-30 years ago, was a blast to drive, even in winter. The only thing that sucked was when you rolled it, it was next to imposible to get out of the seatbelt harness because it always jammed up. If you haven't upgraded to a 5 point seatbelt, do it now, to keep your ass planted in the seat, cause you will look really funny with your legs dangling out using there ole seatbelt system

it has the stock 4 point setup ill be upgrading to a newer 4 point with a diff latching mech as son as i can get the cash . the one in it is cut so you can only go so far with the shoulder straps

I would not settle for anything less than 5 point, I put these in my XJ.
you might think that 5th strap between your legs is gay, but for 5 bucks extra and the reasurance that your ass will still be planted in the seat after a roll.

yeah i deff get what your saying but i dont have much room between the leg due the how my feet have to seat in it . and there no bar that i could mount the 5th point to . im think about just replacing the 4 point with a better one . something like this one and this one bolt right in with no mods
http://www.summitracing.com/parts/grm-15-622/overview/

if i could snag a good use one id go 5 point and add a bar a crossed for the 5th point
