no, Fiesta is next to Black Rock. I haven't been in the one by the dollar store but I will check it out. Ever been the the Red Olive there?

is fiesta > sagebrush? We have been meaning to try it.

Red Olive is legit. Had breakfast there a few times.

Been to the Red olive once. Wasn't bad, but nothing I felt the need to go back to.

Mexican joint down the plaza is called La Herradura. The Burrito Arizona is tasty. They serve beer and booze, too.

Thanks for all the responses. Most likely give Black Rock a try first, although I did do takeout from Beale Street. It was okay, but for BBQ ill go to Homeboy BBQ in Flushing. It's both cheaper and better in my opinion.

I just realized that Fiesta isn't the same as the place before it. We went when it was T.W. Amigos and it wasn't that good. Then we found La Herradura and we liked that place, so I didn't pay much attention that it's a new owner.

I haven't been to Homeboy but I've heard lots of good things. Best I've had in the area was Smokin Johnny V's in Corunna. http://www.smokinjohnnyv.com/

IMO it's worth a drive up. Their prices are crazy cheap. They achieve great prices because they are not a restaurant. They are a caterer who sells takeout, which means they don't have a bathroom. They do have tables to eat at, both inside and out.

If you are planning on getting some food it's important to know they do not take credit cards.

I haven't been to Johnny V's, but since we are expanding beyond Fenton for good BBQ -- if you're looking for good smoked style BBQ then I recommend Burroughs Tavern in Brighton.

I've been to Burrough's enough times to feel confident in saying that both their food and their sauces are extremely disappointing. I'd rather drive much further for much better food.

I was thinking the same thing. I go there all the time in the summer when I'm out at the lake house. Never been disappointed with anything there.

Yep. Been there 3 or 4 times and have yet to be impressed. The meats have been bland and the sauces are more like lightly seasoned tomato paste than BBQ sauce. Nothing about it really did much for me. I did like that some of the hostesses were wearing yoga pants, but you can get that about anywhere these days.

Unfortunately Hancho doesn't know what good food tastes like. True story bro. The owner of the Union told me third person.

Just had fiesta. Less wait than sagebrush. Fajita (the steak for certain, chicken was about the same) was a click or two better. Didn't have taco or burrito. Margarita not as good. $1 beers were better. Sagebrush chips and salsa are better, and you get endless chips, fajita charges for second basket of chips

I like Sagebrush's chili....didn't have chili tonight.

fajita vs sagebrush.......

fajita may get the very slight edge
