Default Ruger 1911

Know a guy selling a Ruger 1911 with less then 500 rounds through it for $500. Seems like a good deal and reviews look good. They are around $650 new and could offer him $400 and probably get it.

Fire away with thoughts and opinions.

Thanks!!

Hop on it. For a lower priced 1911, they shoot well and have a decent trigger.

From what I'm told, there's a waiting list for these from Ruger. Buy it.

That depends on what model it actually is. Para has a lot of different 1911 models, ranging from 600 to well into a thousand. Limiteds are pretty high price usually.

His was Canadian made, F14-45 Limited. Was in decent shape for an older gun.

I used to have a Ruger Vaquero. Awesome pistol.

Like your statement... It has absolutely no place in this conversation.
