This is what I remember (over 20 years ago I had mine done..) I remember laying on the couch watching TV, and my girlfriend came in, I sat up and a mouthful of blood drooled out of my mouth into my shirt... lol...

I don't remember recovering being anything special. I remember seeing Pantera in concert the next night, but I did fall asleep in the suite due to the painkillers. I had mine removed in pieces with a chisel, as they were all impacted. Not as bad as my worst root canals, or as bad as the one molar I had pulled a few years ago. Just do the salt water rinses and take lots of ibuprofin. I learned to take the max number of ibuprofin *before*getting* dental repairs done now...

Thanks for your two cents, both good and bad. I'm really hoping I'm doing okay tomorrow I tend to bounce back pretty fast, praying I don't get dry socket, I'm being VERY careful not to do any of the no nos so hopefully I can avoid that can of worms.

I remember being super wasted on the meds they gave me. Well, I don't really remember, but judging by my credit card bill the next month I had fun until I came down.

Mine should have came out four years ago.

Two lowers grew in alright for being impacted on the bottom. Top right is moving into place from being impacted. Last one hasn't broken through yet (also impacted)

I'm tempted to see if the top two will push out and fix my under bite...

Pretty much went through teething again.

I did have four other ones removed before braces. The laughing gas threw me off pretty seriously. I guess I got up to walk out after and ran straight into a wall by the door. I kept trying to talk with a mouth full of gauze. No pain killers, was eating semi solid by end of the day after the surgery, full sold on fourth day to avoid any other problems.

When I was younger I had two removed. I was eating a BLT sub the next day. I just had the other two done a year or so ago. No problems either. Just do what they say, soft foods, no straws, rinse after meals w/salt water.

I felt great the next day, and even the day after that, and then the dry sockets set in

Well woke this morning and havent taken any pain killers yet and I'm not doing to shabby, a little sore and it kind feels like someone sucker punched me in the right side of my jaw where they pulled the impacted one. But I guess I'm one of those good recovery people, thank goodness!!!

I had all 4 removed when I was 14 or 15. All of them were impacted and I ended up having to get them reopened 1.5 weeks later because some food got stuck in the sockets. It took me a few days before I was eating semi-solid foods. The pain was not bad though, I think I only took 1 or 2 Vicodin between both procedures.

Just make sure you dont suck on a straw. I remember doing that and it was quite painful and then they all started bleeding again.

I had all 5 removed a few years ago, they were impacted and all fukced up. I remember getting home and thinking he pain wasnt so bad, so I didn't take the painkillers. THAT ended up being a bad idea

Other than that it wasnt so bad, I didn't get dry socket or anything like that

That'd make me throw up. A couple vicodin and a couple tramadols and you could walk on a broken leg though. Actually that's not medical advice but nothing else cut through the pain of my achilles tendonitis but vicodin and tramadol made it painless.
