So sorry for your loss. Only time will make it easier, and you will never get over it.
I lost one of my best freinds to a freak snowmobiling accident and still think about him almost everyday. I lost my older brother when I was ten years old and think of him often, but It was a long time ago and time does make it easier.

This is a good start to recovering from your loss, keep remembering the good times, and even the bad ones.
It sucks, but unfortunently the older we get the more things like this happen.

Remember the good times, my son was real young when my mom died, he doesn't remember her much, but loves to hear stories about both her and my dad. Remembering the good times even the bad times you had with them helps keep them in your heart. I don't think the pain of losing them ever goes away, but you accept it remember the good times and try to move on with your life.
I lost my dad when I was 20, was real hard on me. Truly sorry for your loss, but your friends and family can help you through this.

Over the last 5-6 years, we have lost 4 coworkers at my work (less than 40 people at this location). Two to car/motorcycle accidents and two to heart attacks (under 45 y/o). I went to grade school with the last guy, we were not real close but I knew him well. It's rough.

Be open and remember the good times with his other friends and family when you see them. Time, time, time.

Sorry for your loss.

I suddenly lost a dear friend a few years back....still think about him alot and it does not hurt any less.....but it does hurt less often as time goes by. I find myself thinking more about all the good times we had and less about me missing him being here today.
