Question Anybody know where to get Michelin military tires in MI?

Looking for some 9.00R16 or 255/100R16 Michelin XL, XML, XCL, XZL, etc military tires. Basically a 36x10ishR16. Tall and narrow would work good for me right now.

Can't seem to locate these sizes. If I wanted to lift the truck and fit 38's I could get the bigger versions off of eBay for less than $500...but I don't want to lift it...won't fit in the garage if I do...

Anybody know where to get Michelin military tires in Michigan?

You can often find them on ebay for pretty cheap, I think a place in WI sells them. I certainly wouldn't pay anywhere near new price for them.

You can't really find them anymore. They stopped surplussing out the obsolete sizes about 6 years ago and they have dried up. People are starting to have dry rot and age issues with them now. The wider sizes the USMC currently uses occasionally pop up but not like they were several years ago.

I figure you mean the 325/85R16's.

They're rare any more. The USMC is using pretty much all that are available. With the war going on they're using them up too. Not much ending up as surplus.

Check Hundreddollarman on Pirate, Ebay, GovLiquidation, etc. Past that...who knows?

Nearest Marine Corps base or supply depot that would have them is in North Carolina.
FYI - they're really heavy and not that great in the mud.
