Default Coil over shocks ust for regular shocks?

I need new shocks.... Could i buy coilover shocks and use them as regular shocks until I link my YJ?

I plan to go that route some day so it would be cheaper to buy them now and use them as a shock, then re-valve them when I run coils.

Yes you could. You may have to beef up the mounts once its carrying the load though.

Ok thanks!

I just look at it as why not spend a little more to get something I can use in the future and not have to sell and loose money on.

Now to figure out what lengths front and rear I need.

I wouldn't run any springs on the coilover if you still are running the leafs...you will be WAY over sprung
