Default i have the opportunity so what do u think?

I currently have a 99 zr2 Sonoma and I have the opportunity to trade for a 99 full size GMC or a 96 full size Chevy. I don't really wanna get rid of the Sonoma but I have a kid and could use the room. What u guys think?

Sonoma:

182xxx miles. Its my daily driver. 4.3l 4x4, 5" bds lift, ion alloy wheels, great 33" Goodyear duratrac tires, no rust, has pillar gauges, aftermarket dash gauges, flowmaster, exhaust, k&n cold air intake, 4 KC lights on the front, 2 lights in the grill, working sunroof, blue hid headlights, 3rd door, CD player, has a system in it, blue interior lights, very clean truck. The truck was repainted this past summer. It is completely rust free. Body was taken off and and frame was professionally rhino lined. You won't find a cleaner truck. Has new cap, rotor, plugs, wires, fuel pump, and intake gaskets.

99 full size GMC:

Has higher miles but uses or leaks no fluids. No ticks or knocks. Has 3rd door, 3" suspension lift, dick cepek rims with 315/75/16 tires, needs a drivers door panel, rockers and cab corners have rust, door latch is funky. Overall nice truck.

96 full size Chevy:

Also has higher miles. No rust. 6" bds lift and 3" body lift on 32s. 2 door. Has a bunch of new parts in front end. Good running 5.7 with no engine noises. But it does have some ugly graphics on it

I'm trying to stay economical but don't wanna take a loss either. What is the better vehicle? What's worth more?

As a mechanic i would suggest the new body truck just cuz we dont see many of them we do way more work on the older 350 trucks than the newwer 5.3 trucks

170k on a stock auto is still pretty damn good, I never count the second third fourth or fifth since they a re usually due to improper rebuilding.

X4789 for the 5.3. Do the body work and it will be a nice truck and bring decent money if you sell it later.

Go with the 99 just all around better for you.

The 96 has 9 inches of lift and no third door you would play hell with a baby seat also I'm guessing it sucks has like crazy
