Default "The other Woman" LJ

Picked up an 05' LJ from Davey's Jeeps, was smushed pretty good in the front right. Still trying to find some of the earliest photos I have.

Plans, comp cut, 07' dana 60 f/ 14 r, stock motor (for now), stock transmission, 231/300 case, build a cage, build tube fenders, highline, bumpers/ winch mnt., 4-link front and rear, full hydro...

Bare with me, photobucket virgin, might need some help uploading pics.

Narrowed the 60 a bit, had Rock Solid cut down my shaft and drill my bearings for standard
bolt pattern.

Cut out the tin rear crossmember that the stock bumper bolts through and replaced it with a 3/16 with tow points through to the frame, body mounts through the top of new piece as well.

Have always wanted an LJ but never had the extra $$ for one. Really looking forward to this build.

Picked it up pretty cheap as a salvage, most of the damage was fender, grill, hood front axle, things that were either going away or replaced easily.

Cool build. Curious if you found more wrong with it than what was originally described or not?

@green50gt

Not really, the description was front pass hit, doesn't steer. Davey does a good job getting enough pics that you can pretty well see what you have. The fist pic I have here is after a bunch of work, still looking for some of the "as is" pics from when I picked it up. The grill was pushed into the fan, right fender was gone, pass side door didn't shut and match the a pillar as the tub had some damage and was pushed in a little around the battery box. Front upper and lower control arms were pretzels, bumper bent, steering box shaft snapped off, broken windsheild, Etc... Borrowed a lot of parts to get through inspection, then began cutting. Most of what was broken or bent/damaged was going by-by through the build anyways.

Gotcha, just curious. I have had several not so great experiences with them, however I will take some blame as I have them shipped back as opposed to physically looking them over myself.

Back to the build.. What type and size tires are you planning on running?

38-39" radial mud terrains, not sure on brand yet. Had Bias Irok 39.5's on a buggy and loved em, but thinking something more street friendly.
