The cage will be done in three stages,
Front portion is stage 2 and engine cage will be stage 3.

But to finish the front section of cage I need to do some firewall trimming so I can up the tire size. Also need to do alot of rewiring and cleaning up so we can remove the dash to tuck the bars behind it.

Then going to Lizard skin sound deaden the interior.

probably just end up going 33x12.50. But in the back of my mind I would really like to run 35's on the trails, and probably just 33's in the dunes.

I am running Deaver J59's with a 12" shackle over the frame.

Sorry not great about giving details, figure people who want to know will ask.

No problem, I'm just trying to figure out what I'm doing with my tacoma this summer and the rear is currently a big "?" for me. Trying to find the seemingly unobtainable happy medium between some speed performance and ability to still carry some weight.

The J59 is a stock length spring, correct? As in utilizing the factory front mount, combined with the TC shackle?

Yes J59 is a bolt in pack. You do not need to do the TC shackle or even move anything if you don't want. I felt longer shackles greatly improved the ride, but a 5' shackle in the stock pivot rode pretty well.

How much weight do you plan on carrying and how do you plan on doing the shocks?

Went up to Lenger Racing today and put the truck on the dyno. He was able to pickup 10 horse and a much smoother power delivery working on the tune. Made a huge difference on the road, now we will see how big a difference it is in the sand.
