Default SOLD 88 jeep comanche 4.0 5 speed $2200

Im selling my jeep comanche pickup. Its got a 4.0 with a 5 speed 4x4. Has a 6ft bed on it and the body is fairly clean considering the year and the normal rust issues these have. I replaced the rocker panels over the summer and patched the cab corners, all metal no shoddy bondo patches. The drivers side bedside was patched before i got it but it looks ok. The passenger bedside has a little rust over the wheel arch but thats about it for the bed. The doors are very clean and the floors have been kinda patched but not perfect. They arent too bad. The drivers fender has been replaced along with the hood and header panel. It was in a minor fender bender with a samurai. All the damage was cosmetic except the radiator but its all been fixed. The jeep runs and drives pretty well but the gas gauge doesnt work. Its got about 2" of lift and brand new 31" tires on ultra polished wheels. All in all its a sweet little truck and could easily be very nice but i just bought a 70 chevelle and need $ to get that goin so bye bye jeep.. I tried posting pics but it wouldnt work for me n I got pissed and quit. Im not on here very often anyways so its better to get hold of me by phone and I can send pics that way. Call or text 219 873 4932 any time. Im kinda firm on 2200 but cash talks. Thanks

Thanks again for posting pics. I also have a link to my craigslist add for the truck that has a few pics and a little more info... http://chicago.craigslist.org/nwi/cto/3591112528.html I also forgot to mention that the truck comes with an aftermarket 97+ header panel with most of the trim and parts on it. I was going to do a 97+ front end swap but never finished getting parts.

No problem. If it sells before this is gone you can count on me buying it. ;) Find a buyer for my Z lol.

Thanks Scott. I can possibly do some sort of partial trade. I have a 70 chevelle at home that needs a new steel cowl hood and rear quarters and I'm looking for a 454 long block to rebuild and either a TH400 or all the parts to swap in a 4 speed, including the trans. I still need some cash but id knock the price down some for some sweet big block chevelle peices.

Default comanche

Depending on your plans for the Chevelle, I have a 454 thats pretty fresh. I bought it not knowing exact layout of internals. Turned out to be 100 over bore pistons that'll give 13-1 with 454 heads. Was too much for what i had planned so its been wrapped up on an engine dolly. This is a complete long block, but heads still need to be done. Think the pistons where trw. I also have a th400 long tail that i pulled from a running and driving caprice wagon. Let me know if this would interst you. Jason 2482402707

100 over and 13:1 454 sounds like a good start on a LOT of speeding tickets lol. Its sounds like a pretty sweet setup but im wanting to go a little more street friendly thatll be dependable on pump gas. Thanks for the offer tho. Im supposed to have a guy come look at the truck sunday so if it sells i may be in the market for the TH400 you mentioned.
