Default Stolen trailer in waterford

My friend had it stolen from behind his shop last night. Had a tongue amd cable lock too. Around 22ft long, keep your eyes open. Was jusy a landscape trailer, but if they went through that much trouble at least use this as a reminder to be careful with your stuff.

A hitch ball with the shank cut off locked in the hitch will stop most thieves.

He had cable through the wheels, and a lock ball on the tongue. part of the reason I posted this was to show just how desperate some theives can be. Guess his neighbors camera might have gotten them on video.

Damn! Determined buggers, weren't they.

I keep my little trailer blocked in with the TransVan.

Im suprised someone would take that risk and go through that trouble for a landscape trailer. I see dump trailers and equipment trailers all over around here in plain sight with no/minimal locks. Blows my mind. I always lock even my shitty trailers that are in a fenced yard out of sight. Those big ass master tongue locks can be had keyed alike online.

He is pretty crazy though, if it was an inside job, and he catches whoever did it, im sure ill be posting a link to the news story.

It's Pontiac. My dad works at the Waste Management right there off Walton. There's one thing that i hate and that's a thief. Hope your buddy gets it back. I work close to that area (auburn hills) and i will keep my eye out.

The overall condition of my trailers makes them undesirable to thieves.

Thieves are scum. Some of us bust our ass to acquire things and other's feel they can just slid up and grab. Scum.

One of the landscape companies working in our neighborhood earlier this summer had a bunch of houses they were working on all at once and left a trailer with some equipment on it still connected to a truck but the crew was nowhere to be seen. Some guy driving through decided to just un-attach the trailer, roll it back a few feet, and then hook it up to their truck.

One of the crew members was walking back to the truck and saw the thief driving off with their gear and called the cops. They caught the guy before he got far. Now I notice that the lawn crews more often carry their stuff around in box trucks instead of on trailers.

I only said it's either because the Auburn Hills picks up north of Collier which is only about 1/4 mile from Walton when closer to Joslyn. The border jogs a lot around there. Collier has a lot of industrial so I thought this might be up there.

The border does jump around quite a bit. Like, where and wtf is Lake Angelus? LOL Too much going on in that area.
