Default *SOLD* 1986 John Deere 316 w/ Hydraulic Blade

1986 John Deere 316 - Fresh oil changes (Engine and Hydro). The hydraulics have been upgraded to have (2) circuits just like the 318. The rear brakes have also been upgraded to individual steering brakes. This allows to you brake each tire individually or both of them together. I am also including in the sale a 54" hydraulic snow plow (hydraulic lift, manual angle). These sell for $300 or so by themselves. With the upgraded hydraulics that this tractor has you could add a cylinder to the front blade and have hydraulic angle as well. I had plans of doing this but money is tight and also don't have the time.

Overall the tractor is in great shape, both mechanically and cosmetically. No puff of smoke at start up, no "creep" that these tractors are notorious for, absolutely zero oil leaks (this includes the cylinder on the plow), and has pretty decent tread left on the tires. Is the tractor perfect? absolutely not, its over 25 years old! At the same time I would not hesitate one bit to put it up against most of the newer style garden "tractors". They just don't make them like they used to. To get a new equivalent John Deere you need to step up to the 700 series before you get (2) hydraulic circuits up front. The bottom line is you will not be disappointed with this tractor.

Asking $850 OBO for the complete package. More pictures available upon request. Plow is in much better shape than the picture shows.

Great deal! Those things usually sell for twice that on craiglist. If you had a mower deck and snowblower I might be interested, but good luck with the sale

Not really looking to separate them at this time unless I have buyers lined up for both
