Default wont stay in 4wd

i just put a tom woods ds on and now it will back out of 4wd. it seems like it will stay in, in reverse but in drive it will slam out. also it used to engage and disengage quickly, now it seems to take some time.

tcase out of adjustment somehow?

what do you think

Have a similar issue in an 04. The linkage seem to be the common sugestion. Mine tends to stay in 4wd.
Planning on cleaning it up this weekend. Let you know how it works out.
