so does this mean my 71 cj5 can run open headers?

Is this what you're running renegade ? I am considering buying these for my truck but I read they're not recommended for over 1776cc applications. I have true 3" duals so I would be running two of them on a stock big block.

I'm also wondering how much sound they muffle, I would hate to run these after glass packs and still be too loud.

Any thoughts?
