Default 1971 Jeep CJ5

Frame off Restoration, with new steel body. Floor is 1/8" steel plate. No rust or bondo.Original Buick V6, drive train. Daily driver last summer. All lights(except headlights) converted to LED. Power steering and brakes added. Tilt steering and aftermarket seats. Hydraulic clutch upgrade. Optima battery, Autometer guages, drum brakes. Also has onboard air and locker in rear.
American Racing wheels with 12 1/2 X 33 BFG all terrain tires. $7000 OBO Might take partial trade for running CJ or wrangler.

Price reduced to 6000 OBO, but I don't HAVE to sell this jeep, so I'm not going much lower. It is worth checking out!

Help me out,
If the body is all steel and "new".........how and (mostly) why would it have a 1/8 thick steel plate floor?

Integrated into. Previous jeeps had rotten floors, so this was overkill. But something never worried about on this one.

Guys,
This is an old style CJ 5, with comfortable sport seats. Don't expect to show up 6'2,300lbs., and be upset that you don't fit. Yup..Just happened.
