Ram assist

Anyone run a ram assist setup on there axle? I'm looking at a 2wd steering box for crossover steering right now and it's been drilled for assist. If purchased i'll be putting it on my Dana 60. It'll help with steering as i now have a spool in the front. Just looking for some real life input on how they work.

I have been running assist on my Toyota and once you get the bugs worked out it does great. Just make sure the box was tapped correctly, make sure you have a big reservoir, and make sure you have a cooler for the fluid.

He was more than happy with his.

Also if you don't have a local hose shop give G.T. Rubber a call for your lines. 32 bucks for my lines with crimped fittings!
