In Ohio, the county sheriffs can issue Level 1 thru 3 warnings. Not sure exactly what the levels are defined as anymore, but at level 3 all roads are closed to any other than emergency vehicles. I laughed at a friend posting this on Facebook the other day that it would never work in MI. But in SE Ohio where drop offs of 200-300 feet are common with minimal guard rails, things go to shit in a hurry. Not like lower MI where you may run into a little ditch if you slide off the road.
I went to college in ohio a few years ago. The night before this picture we got some snow and the county issued a level 3 warning. This picture was taken around 9am and the jeep was untouched, that is all the snow we got. The university was shut down because we weren't allowed to drive anywhere. And no, it was not icy at all, just a little fluffy snow. Ohio does in fact suck.
