Shackles and Military Wrap springs

Got some new 2" BDS springs, shocks, all the other goodies but need new shackles. I don't want a lot of lift from the shackles, leaning towards MORE 5/8" boomerangs. Any other suggestions?

I had to install 1" lift shackles in the rear to clear the military wrap itself.. And after doing it with 1" shackles, I still think I should of put in bigger ones..

The leaf still rubs under compression against the frame.

I have a BDS 3.5" and like CC I had to go with 1" lifters to clear nicely. I don't rub the frame anymore though. You might be okay with 5/8" lifters if they don't have the cross bar brace and if that was the case, I'd make my own from 1/4" flat stock rather than wasting money on buying new ones. You really should have slightly extended shackles after a lift anyway, it allows the spring to stretch it's legs.

The shackles BDS reccomends from their catalogue to go with the MW springs is 1" - I would fab up something in the shop, but rumor has it Santa is not bringing me a welder this year.

I ordered the MORE's - their sale price was hard to pass up. Now I just need a day off to get all the pieces and parts put where they belong.
