Default mqt county

Anyone know of any place to hit the trails in mqt county? I grew up there and always heard of the gorge run? Still around or no... we are going to the horsepulling/ mud drag in champion mi last weekend of June. Looking to trail ride the Friday before that.Any susuggestions? Thanks, david

Yes gourge is not a legal trail crossing and being unlawful you will be fined for driving on that section of trails.
We have a good group they wheel often and camp out during the summer over weekends and are always welcome others to join in the family friendly outings.

Gorge/carpet ride is illegal. Technically most of the good trails probably are up there.
Lots of fun to be had in the area though. Goose lake, Skandia, skanee, magazine run, mulligan, Arvon, wildcat canyon, also some fun out by champion.

where in champion.. thats my home town, i know of the old railroad grades, and the mead paper properties by horseshoe lake, anything else? thanks

Not sureof to much up by champion but if you go north east of there you get into the wildcat canyon area. keep minibeast and i posted, we can get a group together

yeah i have done that a few times. you can take decent roads most of the way, some two tracks, right in that area is some good stuff.

Just been hearing about it since I was young.. been all the way as far as the rock cut and hay press fishing.. decent offroading past there?? Something u guys would do again ? Thanks
