What scope, rings and bases are on it? When was it made? Do you have an approximate round count?

It has a bushnell 3x-8x. I guess its an ok scope. I think it is a late 60's to early 70's made rifle. Serial # is G1032597. The wood is real good no scratches, the barrel is the same. It looks like to me it had little use. The lady I got it from told me it was her dads and he passed away 35 yrs ago. He died an old man so one can only guess it may have not been fired in the past 40/50 yrs ago.
Rings and bases I'll check.

Just checked at winchester and the yr was 1972 manufacture date.

can you get a better picture of the butt stock? the recoil pad doesn't look orginal to the gun and it doesn't look like it is a good fit is it bigger then the size of the wood?

It is original to the gun, maybe the pic gave you that impression. I have another pic of the butt end for you.
