Default Out of Stock, No backorders available

We usually do a little target shooting, plinking, hunting, or something that consumes a little ammo every once in a while.

I have made a decission to hoard, the ammo that I have and not waste it on the sparrows shitting on my equipment in the barn, as simple shot gun shells are not available, let alone rifle ammo.

Midway USA is blown out, and cheaper than dirt has doubled their prices.

What an amaizing transformation to the economy that Finestein has made.

I have started checking all the ammo sites on a regular basis and stopping by gun shops and Dunham's on a reg basis. If I find what I am looking for in stock at a reasonable price I'll buy as much as I can afford. Have gotten lucky a couple of times at Dunham's and recently at Natchez. Tried to place an order for in stock ammo at Midway the other day and it had sold out before I got to the complete my order screen. We still get out to the range on a regular basis but have cut back on the amount of rounds we shoot.

It's pretty hard to find anything right now. My LGS told me small pistol primers are scarce due to pistol leagues. As soon as those show up, im good to go for ammo.

Where do you shop that shotshells aren't available? That sounds like a pretty pathetic store.

That's what I was thinking, I mean sure they're out of .223, some 9mm, and even .22lr, but shotgun ammo has been everywhere?

Well I have not been in any store this week, but a week ago and two weeks ago I went into two dunhams in lansing, and in Meijer and walmart in Ionia,

Dunhams had barley any shells for 20 gauge, they had some 7-1/2 and one box of #6 and 1 box of #4, which I bought both.

The second dunhams I went into had three boxes of #6 20 gauge left.

I asked if they had more and they said, they usually get ammo in on Tuesday morning at 10:00 and they have people standing their waiting.

Meijer and Walmart, have little variation of shot shells,

No .223 No 308, they do have 30-06 and 30-30, none of the cheaper rounds though.

He's not the only one....I haven't been looking that hard for things like .22LR, but meijers/walmarts/dicks was out last week when I was there. Unless you wanted #6 or #8 shot shells in 12/20ga, you were SOL.

Go to a real firearms dealer. Those stores didn't stock much more than that to begin with.

Unfortunately your alittle too late . When and if things come back around you need to start reloading. I've been hoarding for a few years and still don't feel comfortable with my stock. I bought 5250 22lr the day after the shooting and I wish I'd bought more.
