I can move them, the harness has plenty slack. Ill see how they hold up this weekend in the sand..

Just temporary until i build a real bumper this winter, I really hope im not hitting them into the sand, that would have to be full bump into a pretty steep hill or whoop.

Will do. I probably wont be there until saturday and hopefully I will have my truck back together. If I don't I will be rolling around in my lifted Grand Cherokee.

Oh yea tell Tyson he invited you so that means he has to take you for a ride in his truck. You will be glad you did.

I think apple fest is next weekend. I thing the long travel thing is the 12th and 13th.

It's not like anyone can tell you that you can't come lol. Come say hi if you see me in the big black box. I'll prolly be wearing a flat bill hat and look like a real doucher, but I'm not that bad

It is apple fest weekend, for what ever reason applefest it isn't the weekend after Labor day any more. They moved it to two weekends after. Ill invite you on facebook when I have a chance.

Adam,
Sorry to clog up your thread.
And yes after a ride in Tysons truck you will want Beams and Links. The idea has crossed my mind a few times.

BTW my name is Chris

Woah... I did something

Cut some plates to go inside to brace it. Was going to weld like this, but because of the slot in the center, i turned them 45*

Forgot how long its been since i welded... Ugh, not proud of these, but they were hot and dug, so oh well.

Whatever kind of undercoating somebody sprayed on the frame in the past really kept it pretty clean underneath.

Thanks dude! Been a while since Ive done any real fabbin. Felt great.

Im really seeing a set of ORD custom rear leaf springs in my future though. I had thought that id be ok to get about 5 inches of bump travel out of the 52s. But all the info I could find says that 3" is really it before you start to kill them.... I am setting up the air bumps to have 6", but was gonna just space down the bump with a tube spacer until I can afford the ORD springs.... But I dont really want to mess with it if thats all im gonna get out of the stockers

if it helps, I'd save the money and link it. I went through 2 sets of custom Alcans on the rear of my s10 until I got sick of it. hind sight is 20/20
