Badass brackets aren't needed for chatter bumps FYI.

Those are 4" bump stops

And I set them for 5.5" of up travel just to be on the safe side of things. 1.5" between the pads in those pics.

Did you break down your springs to determine bump height? Also you are going to want to make sure the ubolts arent sticking up past what you are bumping off of. Make sure you are giving yourself pleanty of space to bump off, you wont aleays bump off an exact location with leafsprings. Just my first thoughts looking at it.

Yes that was the reason. And to make sure stuff wasn't going to hit and interfere etc.

Had to clearance cv stops and was able to get an exact measurement of what my driveshaft needs to be for length and slip.

And yes I mounted the bumps where at full bump they will be at the one side of the pad, and when they hit they will be on the other. You can see they are off centered from the pads

The shackle moves the axle just about an inch back on bump travel

I'm not bagging on you just an observation when I look at the pics. hard to tell and alot of people don't take into account that you need a generous area to bump off of for a Leaf setup like that. It will not bump off the exact location every time like a linked setup. It will move side to side and front to back based on the situation which can cause poor handling charecteristics, and possibly bent parts.

I also wouldn't bump off the factory Ubolt plate if you aren't going to run a swaybar and don't need it. Or at least add a plate to the top so the cast piece isn't taking the direct hit and the rounded edges are gone.

I know because I have setup a few and haven't always been spot on even with proper cycling. It's just my 2 cents so take it for what you think its worth.
