Clutch is in....so far so good. The install was easy.....driving it you can definitely tell its not stock.....its very tolerable and not rough or anything, pedal effort actually went down. That being said, when you release the pedal it grabs.....it is very crisp feeling.....its gonna take me a bit to get use to it, especially driving in traffic but so far i am happy with it.

I think the old flywheel got a little hot

I have an 02 with the same clutch. I have 100hp cummins performance products (Jamie is a crook). With my edge on 5x5 towing dd you name it. One year on the clutch with just the edge one year with the bigger sticks. Clutch is still great. It did take the hydros out after about a year. I now have south bend clutch hydros and it makes a big difference.

My only complaint so far is trying to back up a trailer.....you can not go slow without smoking the clutch....i know my 3.55 gears and 34" tires do not help but it still sucks....guess i will have to start locking it in low.

Did the steering today.

The 09-10 steering is in fact a bolt on deal for these trucks....it is also MUCH beefier. Trucks drives straight and steers good now.

After market makes 3 out of 4 of the tierods but you can't get the 4th.

Dealer charges 359$ for everything.....you can buy them online for 269$ + shipping online....i got that price from my local dealer.

It is all sold as 1 "kit"....if you google you can find the part #

Not the best but you get the idea. Keep in mind it's only bolt on for 00,01,02 trucks....older ones will need to be reamed for correct taper.

Bad news is to do the ford outers to eliminate the unit bearings i would have to ditch my entire axle and get one out of a 94-99....which is more work than its worth imo.
Ive looked over on the pirate forum a few times and never seen why we cant use the 95-97 ford dana 60's outer spindle, stub shaft, and lockouts on the 2000-2002 trucks. Maybe there are to many BS posts and im just missing it. Going to the 4th gen steering is AWSOME!
