He should have walked off the show. He handled himself well.

I hate her fat ass. He should have thrown gay rights and marriage at her. That would have stirred the pot

Lesson here is:

You will get more support for your position if you remain calm.

I love when people stay calm in situations like this. It makes them, and thier 'side', look better and makes the other side look horrible.

I am ashamed to say I've been on both sides of conversations like this though.

That would have been the easy route. By staying and remaining calm he really made her look like a idiot, to people with a brain.

I always laugh when someone brings up 'muskets'.

I ask them if the think the Framers were idiots.

They were aware that the firearm technology would change, it was changing even then.

That's why the wording doesn't list specific arm.

Cannons existed at the time, and aren't really useful for hunting. However, the 2A does not exclude them. At the time, they were the weapon that could kill many people at once.

They realized that in order to keep the government in check, citizens would have to be armed on par with the government forces.

'Well. we have laws to protect us!' is the cry from the anti-2A crowd. Yes, laws made by the government- so you are in effect trusting the government to protect you from the government. Yes, we have the power to vote people out of office, but only every 2 or 4 years. Impeachment is not a process that is carried out by the general public.

Just a few things I toss in the mix that tends to piss off the anti's.

Still applies.
