mounds dont reopen til may 15th. closed from march 15th to may 15th. i think mounds would be fun. and there is a whole heep of titty bars within 20 mins. or so. need to pick a place to stay or camp out. im also 20-25 minutes from the park. but if we do the mounds we have to either go before or after the posted dates.

as for burn outs they have the cement slab. so one will need to pull front or rear tires on slab and let it eat until desired tread depth is achieved. I think the mound would give us some great areas to run a few "events"

keep in mind that this is a gov't. run park. so any gathering will be a "trailride" and impromptu stops in our trailride to "play" would be acceptable.

or we could go somewhere else

They have the concrete slab that we can burn out on and if need be tow strap to hold rig so it will not just climb over.

Mullet run rules:

-All competitors must have a mullet

-true mullet, 5 bonus points (mullet specifications TBD)

-Mullet wigs are accepted but must be worn at all times day of the run

-Vehicles competing must run 31" or shorter tires, all makes and models acceptable

-Tires must be less than 1/4 original tread or dryrotted beyond safe street use

-If tires are questionable, any competitor can put it up to a vote, if and when it is determined the said tires are "too good", the tires owner will burn out till everyone is satisfied, but before tires are completely ruined.

Please help add to rules if I missed something.
Will grooved tires be allowed?

Twisted Trails would be a good park for this too.

The drinking at the camp site and standard jackassery that takes place at this type of event makes me question if a county park is right for this.
