Default 96 Volkswagon Jetta

1996 Volkswagon Jetta, TREK edition 2.0
196160 miles on the car
32 AVERAGE MPG
-runs and drives great(had a bit of a shake at 80mpg last week, but it might have been snow in the wheel.)
-Fresh oil change
-brand new ignition coil
-new exhaust
-new brake proportioning valve
-60%+ of tread left on tires
-new rear wheel bearings
-new rear shocks

I drove this car to and from work for three years and loved it! Im only selling because i have 5 vehicles for just my wife and I.
I am an industrial contractor so i carried alot of tools to and from the job site daily. to compensate for the weight, I replaced the rear stock coils with jeep cherokee coils and trimmed them down to ride at the right height. That made it ride MUCH nicer and level with the weight in the trunk. I still have the stock coils if you would like to swap them back.

Right now the driver side headlight has a crack across it. The crack has been there for two years and doesn't let water in. I figured i would replace it when the bulb burnt out, but it never did.

the passenger side running lights are not working right now either. Might just be a fuse. I haven't looked.

The engine has a small coolant leak from a hose. Very slow, i just add a little more when i do the oil change.

Has a coulple rust spots on the trunk, scuff on the front bumper and missing a marker light cover, you can see all this in the pictures

Price is: $1500 or trade guns, heavy axles, TJ parts

The car also has a factory installed alarm, the only way to turn it on is by locking the driver door with the key.
