Default 1997 VW Jetta - light rollover damage. Buy for parts or Fix. scrapping

A few months ago I rolled my Jetta and started putting it back together. Bought a new Interstate battery, used right front fender, used right side mirror, and a used windshield. I put on all but the windshield.

I completely trusted the car prior to the accident and would have driven it anywhere. It just took me to Columbus OH and back up to our cottage in Luzerne the week before. Has about 220k miles on it and the engine runs great but sounds like it has 220k on it. Has good power and got good gas mileage. It is a stick with a 5k mile old Sachs clutch and dealer clutch cable. I have put plugs, wires, rear struts (complete) rear brakes, lf ball joint, newer catalytic convertor from earlier model, used Flowmaster resonator, muffler, and tip, rear brake cables, ignition switch and cylinder, timing belt was done appx 10k ago, and used trans was installed with all new shifter bushings. oh, and a used newer starter. Has 7k mile old Continental tires with aftermarket wheels.

Needs a thorough cleaning, to be gone over and have oil changed, and roof "adjusted" to allow for windshield install. Airbag and check engine lights are on. Some rust and some dents. I have started it since the accident but not moved it. It is full of little chunks of glass and water from the ditch I ended up in. The a/c switch stays on now too, don't really know why.

$450.00 Full asking price gets extra stuff. I am going to keep radio and front speakers regardless.

All I ask of you is that you fill the title out in full before you leave so I can copy it.

I bought an almost new used radiator and a new modular upper coolant hose. The bottom of the radiator had seen better days, so I was going to replace it... And whatever else I find for the car. I put the fancy gti instrument cluster in it, so I have the old one and some other misc stuff.

Josh,

I stopped driving it because of the windshield. It has just sat since the accident. The used windshield I bought is laying on the drivers seat. I pushed the roof up with a hydraulic ram but it isn't done by any means. Gas door was torn off, pass side was pushed in and roof was pushed in.

Sunday would be best if you wanted to check it out.

Thanks!

I have been slacking Chief Brody... Yes it is. If you have any interest I will let it go for $450 with the radio and speakers still in it. After some love it should still be a good car. I just have four to drive here and two more up north... don't need a seventh.
