firefox, I tried chrom and safari and both were slower than firefoc. I also hated how chrome saves everything you open and clogs your hard drive.

Chrome on computer and tablet (nexus 7), and since I have a windows phone, I'm forced to use IE...but on WP8, it actually works very nice.

I like it a LOT actually. And I'm a tech nerd and I've owned phones on all platforms (iPhones, high end Android devices, and of course Blackberry phones in then past), and I prefer my Windows Phone over all others right now. There are a ton of great Android devices available now as well, which makes choosing a new handset a really tough thing, lol.

If you are considering WP8,. I think you'll be very happy with it. Go in the wireless store and check them out for yourself. I highly recommend the Lumia 820 and the HTC 8X.

Chrome - it's a huge program, but the apps and simplicity are worth the cost in space.

I used FF for years, then it became a resources hog. I have used Chrome for about 5 or so, but lately it seems to be getting to be a resources hog, or it freezes the whole computer up randomly.

Wow, you started using it 2 years before it actually came out?

I used to use Firefox but then it seemed like it wanted me to download an update about every 2 days. That was about the time Chrome came out, to I switched to that.

I would consider Phoenix and Firebird to be the same application as Firefox (because they are just previous names for it), and the first releases of Phoenix were out in 2002.

History_of_Firefox History_of_Firefox

If I were still using Firefox, I would have been using it for 10 years.

What do you mean? Are you implying that if a program needs to be reinstalled, that its not worth using/having??

If you're a PC user...periodic freezing/uninstalling/reinstalling should be something that you're at least somewhat familiar with.
