Generalizations are generally true.

Arian Foster switched to being a vegan, very late in life, and never committed fully to being 100% vegan.

Again, misinformation.

One would think the diet of someone with the mentality of a vegan would be strict paleo. Unless they are only concerned with the animals life. Paleo is probably as natural and "old school" as you can get.

That may be my new favorite quote.

I have seen people who eat that diet because of specific health reasons, who actually take graduate level nutrition courses, and do a great job of being wonderfully healthy, better than most of the general public (My parents are like this). I see some who do it for political or ethical reasons who say they don't care about health, its not about being healthy, its about the animals.

Whatever.

In the end, pretty much everything you do in life is just as silly. You go to school to get a job, to buy a Jeep and a TV so you can watch moonshiners and dancing with the stars. Or you spend you life prepping for a disaster. Or you go to church. Or you play sports, or be a student or whatever. We are all monkeys, we live, have kids, and die.
Agreed, however I have a bad habit of faulting people for liking something or doing something with no logical reason behind it. Enjoying doing something counts as a logical reason to me. But a lot of people believe in things or do things simply because they are popular, or there is some dumb illogical emotional reason behind it that requires made-up BS reasons as to why they do it.

I doubt Danzig is 100% vegan, I just can't see an athlete who needs the protein for muscle recovery being able to be a clean 100% vegan.

That's not a vegan, that's a semi-vegetarian. Big difference.

That's not the ability to understand the sarcasm attached with the claims that Arian Foster is a Vegan (if you've ever watched any sort of NFL Football where they spoke of him you would have heard the vegan claim 5 million times) that's just plain old inability to read.

All vegans don't do dairy, if they did they wouldn't be vegans.

X2

But we make impacts by example. Some small some great, but collectively. Someone birthed Albert Einstein, Adolf Hitler, Picasso, etc

Some impacts were good.....some not.

Or honey. Or eggs. These are a no-no for a true vegan as well.

I'm an omnivore.

Vegan = no cheeseburgers, which means it's a no-go.

I occasionally eat organics, in the sense that a free-ranging Cerevid with a .270 through it is most certainly organic.

I had a boss who was a vegan (and shared the fact that as a vegan she was far superior to weak-minded meat eaters, more disciplined, etc...). She died of colorectal cancer in her 40s. A dedicated vegan stricken in the prime of life by a meat-eaters malady. Karma is a stone bitch.

A vegetarian is not a vegetarian if they eat chicken or fish in my book.

Untrue. By definition, someone who occasionally eats chicken and fish is not a vegetarian.

It sounds like some people in this thread need to get the terminology down before posting.
