Wtf. Local gun store stopped selling pmags so they can raise the prices to the "national average". That is so messed up. Anyone else finding this locally?

Or "supply and demand". The demand is as high as it can get and the supply will end being very finite if the 30rd mag ban happens.

fine by me. I found someone selling their pistols off "in a hurry" so he could go buy ARs, AKs, etc... got a great deal on a FNX9 that I have been trying to find a good deal on for months...

Local Shop here in JXN hasn't raised the price a penny on anything.
I was able to buy all the mags I wanted.
They just got in a fresh shipment of AR's today.
They will continue to get my support & business.

I would have to call it bad business until the ban is actually in place. Things are still being made and eventually everything will calm down. There is no way they can push a bill through congress that fast. If they can, I'll make my own damn mags.

All the more reason to take advantage of the panic.

I wonder if the production lines at the factorys that make and distribute these magazines and the rifles them selves are working three over lapping shifts on OT and Holliday which would be funny to me, as they will end up banning something that their are millions of.

I read an article last night that the New York mayor stated the word "confiscation"

I will be interested to see how that ends up.

I think the whole confiscation thing is just politician hot air. There are more than a few of us who if pushed too hard would start shooting cops and soldiers if they were that stupid to follow an order like that.

Most buyers have been through the 1994 ban , the 2004 end of ban , the election in 2008 and the reelection of this idiot and are just now trying to buy. This hopefully will be a good lesson of how and why to buy .
Things will calm down the guys can't get anything done with the cliff deal and how long have they been working on that ? I would guess any action wouldn't happen till late next year . If a more important event happens in the world it will be longer.

That's because people don't understand how many stupid Americans are out there. We get what we ask for and nothing is impossible with the morons that we vote into office. I wouldn't be surprised if the ban got slapped on and a 10 year felony for any possession of magazine or firearm over 15 rounds.

Turn regular gun owners into a bunch of felonious gun toting law breaking criminals, especially if the ban overlapped into pistolas w/ high cap. mags.

Interesting concept of LEO/soldiers/military/hired goons going door to door across the country trying to get your guns. How would they go about this? They couldn't do it all in one day all across the country to every house. There is also too many media outlets that once it started, news would spread like wild fire. I am not sure the mind set on the people having to go disarm neighbors and fellow countrymen. Would it be just part of their job now? Is it "what I was told to do at work today"? what would happen when those disarming you were disarmed next? It is then free reign for robbers and thieves that still have guns to break into your homes and take what they want. Time to booby trap the house "home alone" style?

What do you think?

Just posing questions as it was a topic of discussion tonight on another board and was an interesting read....

I wouldn't follow an order that disarmed Americans...however if such an order was put in place and someone thinks they can shoot it out with the ones that think they have to follow that order would be made an example of. After that the rest of the country would fall in line. I do think someone should go door to door and check every firearm in your house. And when I mean check I mean check with a warrant, so good luck hiding them. The take the guns from those that shouldn't have them and register the ones people do have in a national data base.

A good example of this is Waco . This was the biggest dog and pony show for your media and they killed (goverment) more innocent than anyone.
