It wasn't a belt loop tho, it was near the goods! Glad I was heading home instead of just getting to work!

My YJ was hell on them also. Didn't own a pair of pants with all the belt loops. That changed after I put racing seats/5 point harnesses in. I can't just slid in and out any more, so it doesn't seem to catch them any more.

Almost every pair of jeans I own are missing a loop because of my tj. I also have a nice scar from catching that stupid latch with my back, that hurts. I think I'm going to start removing the latch when the doors are off.

I figure this poll will get 50% that have the issue as the other 50% have Jeeps that sit in the garage or they drive nude!

My yj has claimed a few loops from my jeans too. I was thinking of switching to the tj style latch, but it doesn't sound like it's a sure cure. The only reprieve I get is when I get to take the damn latches off for the summer.

Yea more a few pair of my working blue uniform when I was in the coast guard. I would get written up for during uniform inspection. Come to think of it I still break a belt loop at least two or three times a year almost 15 years later

Don't recall the jeep doing that, it's usually the equipment at work that does it.
