. Winter Storm Warning remains in effect from 7 am Thursday to
1 PM EST Friday...

Hazardous weather...

* heavy wet snow will occur in the warning area Thursday morning
through Friday morning... with a majority of the snow falling
Thursday and Thursday night. Snow will fall heavy at times... with
snowfall rates of 1 to 2.5 inches per hour possible Thursday
afternoon and evening.

* Expect storm total snowfall of 12 to 16 inches before the snow
diminishes Friday afternoon.

I don't know the zip code, its just outside brimley..


Indian River is supposed to get 10-12" as well., I think me and High Center Hancho are going to swing up there Friday for some sleddin'

I gotta get my sled up to date. Rebuild the shocks, new pull cord and look everything over. I would like to meet up for a ride this season.

12" of fresh snow with no base, and everyone on holiday break out on the sleds, the trails will be good for about five minutes, and still to thin to head off trail.

when i lived in kalkaska, i learned whenever they say 10" of snow multiply that by 2 and thats what u get from NW kalkaska county to gaylord

They are saying it will be an extremely heavy snow. Indian river has now been upgraded to the 12"-16" area.

12" of heavy snow = perfect sleddin'
