Just buy receivers. Those are the currently the only thing tracker the the feds. Then you can always buy the rest of the parts and assemble them later.

High capacity magazines should go quick.

I was in a hardware today that is also a gun dealer and they sold 12 ar's by the time I was there at 2pm. They only had four or five left and two of those were .308's.

I like that every "semi-automatic" gun is being targeted in the media.

I am pretty sure they do not know what that means.

Any suggestions of what to buy before they ban them?

I was posting with some friends in Sweden about how they would love to see guns banned here. I just had to explain that one to them. That and teh term "auto" used in a pistol design.

Ok, I am off to clean my GAU-8 (ok, I dream of having one mounted on my truck some day, google that one!)

I just left Guns Galore. Madhouse. Sold out of .223 ammo and the guy in front of me bought all of the AR receivers that they had.... like 6 of them. I have never seen the shelves so bare and I've been going there for 25 years. Yes, I own a new rifle- its cool.

Fear of picketers and bad press.

Remember why Kmart stopped selling ammo?
