Default Who's ordering up an assault rifle today?

I'm actually thinking there might be some law pushed through this time about assault rifles.

I think that as well. Not sure how extreme it will be but I feel something will come of this

I was in the belief that this is just more "drum pounding" and the same as every other "push" for gun control after one of these tragedies until a reporter on Fox News this morning started talking about the Bushmaster and was calling it "The most powerful gun in America." Then I started flipping channels and the tone is the same from every news agency out there... Propaganda is capitalizing on this tragedy to an extreme level. I have yet to see anyone allowing the Pro-2A reps on the air to try and combat this.

I think it's gonna happen.

This is a gun control advocates wet dream. An outbreak of shootings with evil "assault weapons" across the country. There was another shooting in San Antonio but an off duty cop put him down. Only one injured there. ZERO attention will be paid to this one since a gun stopped him.

The inanimate objects are to blame here in a culture that has been stripped of all personal responsibility over the last few decades.

Unfortunately you hit the nail on the head with that statement.

Just maybe both sides should take a breather until the murdered children are buried.

I did order an AR (Stag Arms) on Friday, but that was before I had heard any of the news about what had happened.
My motive was to build a Coyote gun.

I'm seriously considering picking up another one. The one I have was assembled by the guy I bought it off and you can tell he wasnt a gunsmith. Has a quality upper but the lower is lacking. For what I paid for it though I got a good deal, the upper is more than I paid for the entire gun.

I am thinking of a M&P15T, and grabbing a few 30 rd mags to go with it.

The thing that bothers me is everyone keeps saying the guns were owned legally. Sure the mom owned them legally but the shooter was not legally in possession of the guns, And by passing more laws all they do is prevent the law abiding citizens from owning them. This nut bag along with all the other nut bags out there will still get guns, will still commit murder by any means necessary. Whats next? Outlaw fertilizer since it can be used to make the bomb the next psycho uses to blow something up once all the guns are theoretically taken off the street? Hope everyone likes brown grass and dull steak knives.

How's about we push for better mental health care, educate people in how to identify people that are in trouble and get them help? Or how about we enforce the current laws better?

Nope that's to logical.
