Default Big 3 - Security Companies

Hello all, I am currently going to school for Law Enforcement/Criminal Justice and will be going to the Police Academy hopefully by next Fall if I have enough money put away. However, I want to find a job in the Law Enforcement/Security field so when it comes time to apply for a Police Officer position, I can have experience. I have heard that Chrysler, Ford, and GM all hire security officers from different companies from themselves but I do not know what they are. If anyone has any information on this that would be great.

Or if anyone has any leads on any other jobs pertaining to the security/law enforcement field I would greatly appreciate it!

Thank you

I know that Marathon refinery uses Wackenhut for their security. I spent almost 2 years there and there seemed to be new faces on a regular basis.

Still Securitas - at least for the next couple weeks.

Securitas at Ford too - for the moment.

I hate most of the Q4S idiots i deal with when going to GM. Considering i'm a regular driver to the facilities i visit, it should be a no brainer everytime i go there, but no such luck. treated like a damn criminal asking stupid questions they don't need to know the answer to. example. "where is your load going?" How can i possibly know that when i haven't even picked it up yet?

Never, EVER did I not know where my destination was when I was picking up a load at a shipper (consignee).

Normally that is true for truckload carriers. LTL on the other hand we don't get hardly any info at all. piece count, weight, sometimes we get a zip code, if it's right or not.

There are a few security officers like that everywhere. I worked midnights at Henry Ford hospital for 4 years and when I was running late I would park in the clinic parking lot (the clinic was closed my entire 12 hour shift) and there was one douche nozzle that would come to my department and tell me I can't park there and I'm lucky to get a warning. Me and my boss had a good laugh when he wanted my boss to write me up.

Dont be like the D bags at the gate to my Ford facility! Sometimes they act like you are trying to get in to another country or something. I feel like I should be giving them a pass port instead of an ID badge!
