Where is the blood?

I know how bad they smell when dead and sitting in a little water under my fridge. Rotten Meat! Yuk!

No blood had to look for the trap, wasn't where I set it at.
I don't know if the trapped mouse(?) chewed its leg off to free it or if a shrew ate the trapped mouse(?) and the leg was left in trap.
Not in my house, outside basement access. Checked it Sunday or Monday so not there long.
I also found acorns lined up at the bottom of my pole barn door. I real miss my old dog Ginger, she would have been on top of this infestation.:).
And I even have a cat!
