Question I'm not a sports fan at all so I'm not sure what the proper etiquette is.........

Friend of mine just texted me this...

"You boys available to go to wings vs avalanche on Monday, have 4 tickets to our suite, all you can eat and drink...free!"

Should I graciously accept his invite and go out of courtesy or should I decline and let someone else go that is a sports fan?

I don't think it matters if you're a sports fan when it comes to watching them from a private suite.

Definitely true. It's all about the experience. You won't regret going.

You should go. I am not a sports fan and had a lot of fun at a Wings game.

Ever been to a suite? Well worth it.

Oh, and if you decide you want a hockey fan to go, tell them you know this great guy named Jim.......

double ditto and you might even learn to like pro hockey. it's better than pro football. somebody is always on the move for the full 60 minutes. no 30 delay between each shot. some of the most unlikely moments turn out to be the best. and detroit hockey fans are the best.

Yes, been to suites before, but I feel guilty that my wife can't go. She has never been to an event suite....

Go and get wasted, nothing will be cooler than seeing you on the evening news tumbling down the steep as shit steps at the Joe and smashing into the boards at the bottom with your face

I'm not a sports fan or a drinker so I'd let someone who enjoyed those activities to go. If it was kind of a bucket list thing I might do it.

Sports fan or not, a buddy offered you a gift, you'd be kinda rude not to accept. Besides, free good and drinks

Just pretend like you know hockey. Make sure you use words like Quarterback, Tight end, field goal etc, and at the end of the 3rd quarter make sure you say you can't wait for the fourth quarter.
