Default In a little bind....

Bent my lower C at R&V last time out and its time to make a decision as to whats the easiest on the wallet as well as most practical. I need the rig up and running by snofari!

Option 1: Cut off C and weld a new one off another housing on

Option 2: throw my gears chromos diff cover etc into a new housing and install all new bearings and seals if needed

Option 3: find a HP30 with 3.73s and put my parts into that axle

Do XJs come with 3.73s?

yes. i have one i would sell you but the passenger side upper mount has been changed. so it probably wouldnt work with out putting it back to stock

I can put a new mount on it debating on going to a 3 link anyways. Only will change bearings if needed currently my axle has all new bearings and seals

the xj 3:73 i have is a LP. i have had 3 of them in the jeep and have yet to break a gear set. housings on the other hand...............................

When this is all done you need to grab the grinder and try to remove a c off one off the junk axles just to see how fun and easy it is. After a few hours of trying to keep everything usable you'll give up and never put it on a future list ever again.

Ive ran it locked on 35s for 2 years one with stock shafts one with chromo's
