I'm going to order one this weekend what should I get? I'm leaning towards the jd2.

X2 I have the Notchmaster as well. Well constructed and easy to use. I never made a stand for it, I just clamp it in a bench vise and it works fine.



please excuse the mess, no wonder I cant find anything in the shop...

I like my tn-250 a lot. I was saw notching before that though.

Little tip: put a small oil drenched rag or sponge inside a deep morse saw and it will last a lot longer.

Woodward fab sells a knock-off for $199, otherwise it seems the prices are fixed.
