More Info

Hey all. I am the one from the Kalamazoo Wings trying to put this together. (75 DJ Custom & 97 TJ) It would take place on March 22nd. We have a game at 7:30PM with doors opening at 6:30PM. It happens to be military appreciation night as well. I welcome your input but my plan was to allow any Jeepers to display their rigs prior to the game. I would have up to three judges picking any number of categories like Best Custom, Best Original, etc. (I need input). Three or four winners would drive their rigs on the ice during one of the intermissions. There would be a special ticket price for members of this forum as well as any similar forums throughout driving distance in the Midwest. I would likely have Ziegler Jeep of Plainwell on display since they are a HUGE sponsor but I wouldn't want a lot of that sort of thing. I want the people around Kalamazoo to see bad ass JEEPS, enjoy a hockey game, and support the troops! Simple. Not sure who commented but we have tacos and beer. The location is 3600 Vanrick Dr. Kalamazoo, MI 49001. Or for you techie people... 42.254596,-85.531244

Thanks for listening.

A raffle with the proceeds going to a local VA hospital or to help local family's with loved ones deployed in the area would be sweet.

Great ideas all around. I appreciate the input. I will work on finding a local Veteran's group to support. I will have more details after the first of the year and start to really put this thing together. I'd like to offer this up to all 4 wheelers on this forum for the sake of being fair. If anyone has any ideas or can point me towards someone that can set up an obtacle course please email or call me. We have plenty of space to set something up. Not sure the policy on the forum but here's my info... cgower@kwings.com and 269.271.2915
