Default I need help with throttle body spacers!!!

I need help. I have a 97 CHEVY K1500 Z71 with a 5.7L 350. I am looking for something to add some power, torque, and maybe help with fuel economy. I was told throttle body spacers are a good, quick, and fairly cheap solution. I was wondering if you guys had any idea if they actually worked, and which one i should go with? I have a couple links of the ones in the price range I'm looking at, for i don't have much money.

Option #1 http://www.jegs.com/i/JEGS+Performan...15405/10002/-1
Option #2 http://www.jegs.com/i/Trans+Dapt/969/2565/10002/-1
Option #3 http://www.jegs.com/i/Spectre/865/11257/10002/-1
Option #4 http://www.jegs.com/i/Trans+Dapt/969/2765/10002/-1

Jegs is really the only site i looked at i did glance on summit racing but it seemed expensive. please help!

Spacers will not make a noticeable difference.

If you want a noticeable difference toss the air box for a cold air intake and install a performance chip.

We put a cold air kit, throttle body spacer, injector spacer, and exaust on a few 350 tbi motors and noticed a big improvment in drivability and throttle response.I cant speak of fuel economy because that was never our goal.It does make your injectors noisey when you raise them up,but I beleive it helps.

97's don't have a chip. You'll need to have the ecm rewrote.

add a cold air kit and keep your foot out of it for now. When you get extra money have someone tune the ecm, both should pick you up around 1-2 mpg IMO.

spacers are snake oil. Use the $75 on a tank of gas and go easy on the loud pedal
