It was actually a gun registration and they just recently abandoned it. It cost the country huge amounts of money and was not proven to be successful. Here is a link to a very long read on the issue.

Did some more research on this.


This is the same so called "ban list" that has been floating around since Obama took office in 2008 and the link that usually accompanies it is nothing but an advertisement for some guys book.

It's just a scare tactic advertisement. Until you see an alert pop up from the NRA-ILA for an actual piece of legislation it's business as usual.

Settle down Turbos. It's coming... but it's still not here quite yet.

That doesn't mean you don't keep pressure on your congressman with letters, phone calls, etc reminding them of what happened when the Clinton gun ban passed and how many of them lost their jobs for that genius piece of legislation.

Just remember to take stories like this with a grain of salt when they're submitted by the author of a book being advertised at the bottom.
