'07 classic CCSB LBZ duramax 85,000 miles

EFI, 4" MBRP, airdog, SCIV, 285-75-16 duratracs, etc....

520 rwhp in hot tune which is driven every day.

avg 16 mpg driving it like a race car. switch to tow tune and usually get 9-10mpg with the 32' GN behind it (total setup weighs 22K)

Nope, everyone says that. When I was running 265 75 16's i was getting 15.5 mixed. I get really crappy milage towing. The only bonus to the 7.3 has been that it accelerates and holds speed just fine towing.

That's weird I've had 265/75r16, 285/75r16, 305/70r16, and 315/75r16's without noticing too much of a difference (gps tracked). I can tow a #12k bobcat and equipment trailer combo with a ton of material in the bed up grades and accelerate without an issue. I could probably do the same with a v10 with less maintenance but I like my diesel.
