Default Newer Dakota Tcase in older

I have a 1995 Dakota V8 and I need a Tcase. I looked it up and was told it has a 231D in it. I found a 233D out of an 02 Dak, will it work in my truck?

Did a quik search and found nothing on this. Thanks

Sort answer anything will work. Are you asking can you bolt it right in and go. Probably not as the new ones have a lot more computer operated stuff on them then in 1995. But with some modifications anything can work.
