Not how the Army works. My state of residence has been Michigan for my entire life.

Looks like I gotta call back.

If the guns were purchased using Texas permits in Texas, they need to be re-registered in Michigan.

Although I'm curious how Texas gave you purchase permits without you showing valid ID, or if they even have permits in Texas (I'm guessing not). Unless you just showed your military ID. Not sure how Texas law works.

No such thing as a purchase permit in the land of the free (Texas). All you need to purchase when you're in the military is your military ID and a copy of your orders bring you to whatever state you're in.

Ok, so you'll do the same thing here in Michigan regardless of your place of residence. You'll act as the seller and buyer, just simply re-registering the firearms with Michigan's database from Texas.

It was on a few bills getting voted on. It passed either state senate or house. Some of the items were eliminating PFZs, gun boards for CPL approval, and purchase permits. I'm not sure if they were shot down or not.

They just tried to get rid of the purchase permit. I'm not sure if that also included the registration. It failed to pass
