Default Full Frame 1911 owners, holster of choice?

I just picked up my first 1911 (Remington R1S) and am in the market for a good holster. The plan is to use it as a sidearm whilst hunting and concealed carry on occasion. What do you have/ recommend? And go.

I'm considering if you are a huge guy because it's pretty darn big to conceal.

I like blackhawk holsters . . . they are my choice for any gun.

Concealed carry (IWB) I use a Crossbreed.

Blackhawk Level 2 OWB.

Excellent holsters.

I use their jackass/miami vice like shoulder harness. But the again, I wear jackets alot and its pretty un noticeable. Its handy to carry a few extra mags to even out the weight.

Yup, got it to today, big ole box sitting on the porch when i got home, could have fit 10 holsters in the box it shipped in. it appears as though they have changed the way theyre put together a little, the leather is def softer on the new one, very comfy out of the box, my old one required quite a bit of breaking in to be wearable.
Side by side, My M&P9c in my 8 mo. old King Tuk, next to the new 1911 in the new king tuk.

Side X Side

The new toy.

Check out http://www.rgleather.freehomepage.com/

Right here in MI. I have a belt from him I wear daily, and have had him make a couple holster for weapons now gone. He does good work.

Ive also just found http://www.ubgholsters.com/ I bought the "canute" for my XDs and I couldnt be happier. Price was exceptionally fair for the quality of the holster. And it took just under 2 weeks to receive. He also seems to run sales quite often and right now coupon code "christmas" will get you 12% off.
